Any green smoothie such as spinach, kale and collard green is packed with vitamins/ antioxidants providing us with energy.
Collard greens belong to the cruciferous vegetable family, which is rich in a sulfur-containing compound known to fight cancers. Collard greens are also high in other nutrients such as Vitamins K (which improves calcium absorption), A and C, and manganese. Lastly, its high fiber content aids with digestion.
- 1 Cup Collard greens
- ½ C blueberries of your choice, frozen
- ½ C mango, frozen
- ½ cup coconut water or any of your favorite plant-based milk
Combine ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Top with a few berries!
